Charter Schools
The NCLB Act continued the Charter School Grant Program for all states. It provides competitive grants through states that have charter school laws, to schools in states that do not to support planning, design, implementation, and dissemination of charter schools. States in turn offer competitive grants to individual charter schools for their start-up planning and implementation phase.
